Prevention of the destructive influence of the digital virtual environment on the process of socialization of the personality of adolescents

The article substantiates the relevance of the socialization of adolescents who are under the influence of the destructive content of modern social networks, and examines the socio-pedagogical conditions for preventing this influence. The article presents the results of the analysis of the impact of social networks available to users of adolescence. The results of adolescents’ answers to the questionnaire about their preferences and reasons for using social networks are shown. These results made it possible to identify and formulate socio-pedagogical conditions for preventing the destructive influence of the digital virtual environment on the process of socialization of the personality of adolescents. The novelty of the results of the study lies in the fact that the authors consider an objectively existing problem, the solution of which is possible only with an integrated approach, including the identification and evaluation of the content of social networks, the training of teachers and adolescents to work in social networks.
