Entrepreneurship as a factor of regional development

The article discusses approaches to the study and determination of the size of enterprises in various sectors of the economy of the country. Special attention is paid to the analysis of the development of medium-sized enterprises in Russia and abroad. It is reasonable that medium-sized enterprises, medium-sized businesses are quite an independent layer of enterprises that are of great socio-economic importance for the economy of cities and regions of Russia.
