Legal debates as a means of developing speech culture in students

The article describes the features of such an interactive form of organization of classroom and extracurricular work on the development of students’ culture of speech, as legal debate. The work presents information about the course of the game, main criteria for evaluating the teams’ performance, pragmatics of using the given teaching method. The author emphasizes that a separate studied discipline cannot fully form a high culture of students’ speech, in this regard, interdisciplinary communication and the development of knowledge in the Russian language and rhetoric are important within the framework of practical and seminars in legal disciplines. An important aspect of the formation of speech literacy is the participation of cadets in scientific events.
