Traffic regulations and criminal offence on transport in the Middle Volga region during the initial period of the Great Patriotic War

The paper is devoted to the main aspects of crime in transport during the initial period of the Great Patriotic War. Even in the first months of the war the Middle Volga region turned out to a major transit hub providing the communication between the central regions and Siberia, the South, and the North of the RSFSR. Particular attention is paid to the crimes related to violation of traffic rules and relevant regulations.
