The article analyzes the novel “Fields left by my father” by the Uzbek folk writer Togay Murad, which has a unique style and content. It includes the reasons of the tragedy that happened to a personloyal to the ideals of the communistic system of the state, system where religious education is prohibited. In addition to this it shows the advantages and disadvantages of a cotton farmer's collective image who does not know his rights, is not interested in the surrounding society, and does not even care about his own health, which is the result of a direct social impact on the fate and behavior of a person.
