The article highlights the features of human resource management in the field of physical education and sports through the example of Volgograd specialized youth sports school for Olympic reserve and Sredneakhtubinsk children’s and youth sports school. The activities of physical education and sports specialists are one of the types of educational work. It demands the high professional qualification and continuing professional development. The comparative analysis of activities at two sports schools resulted in a quality research.
