The concepts of good and evil in Lev Tolstoy’s philosophical and ethnical conception

The article focuses on the central idea of Lev Tolstoy’s philosophical and ethnical conception - the idea of nonviolent resistance. It is in the framework of this very idea that the writer interprets such key philosophical concepts as Good and Evil. The goal of this paper is to emphasize the special features of Tolstoy’s doctrine of nonresistance to evil by force that had a key influence on a number of trends in philosophy and culture.
