The concept and types of antisocial behavior

Despite the well-known wording “antisocial behavior”, at the legislative level, this concept was fixed relatively recently. As the analysis shows, the use of this norm does not find its practical application for the entire, more than five-year period of its existence. According to the author, the concept of “antisocial behavior” does not reflect its true content and does not allow us to draw an unambiguous conclusion about the actions recognized as such. The article provides arguments confirming the need to specify the norms of the law, and on the basis of the analysis, the difficulties arising in this regard, the application of preventive measures in practice, are indicated. The author offers his own view on the content of the concept of antisocial behavior, characterizes the actions that violate the generally accepted norms of behavior and morality, the rights and legitimate interests of others. Proposals have been made to eliminate the existing contradictions.
