Police psychology: best practices of Spain

The article reviews the current problems of psychological support provided for Spanish National police officers’ professional performance. The emphasis is given to the spheres of police psychology: selection, establishing qualities necessary for effective performance during the studies (development of a candidate into an efficient police officer), rendering psychological assistance to the police officers. The author presents ways of developing the police personnel.
