Flowering indicators of phlox by P.G. Gaganov breeding in the Mari El Republic conditions

The results of the flowering indicators study of 9 phlox varieties in the Botanical Garden-Institute of VSUT (Yoshkar-Ola, Mari El Republic) are presented. Tall varieties - 'Uralskiye Skazy' and 'Sever', short - 'Skromnaya Devushka' and 'Uspekh'. The varieties 'Uralskiye Skazy', 'Olenka', 'Uspekh' and 'Devushka Podmoskovya' have the largest flowers, 'Sever' has the smallest ones. 'Ruslan' has the largest inflorescences. In all varieties, the diameter of the flowers is less than indicated in the literary description. Varieties with larger inflorescences have smaller flowers.
