The article is an attempt to view Barry Cornwall’s (“Pushkin’s last literary interlocutor”) poetry as an independent artistic phenomenon. His works are interpreted as an example of water and mystery poetics. Different views on Cornwall’s poetry, including astrophilological, are represented.
