In the Han era agricultural population masses often moved from the empire territory to the north near-boundary lands. There was a mixture of ethnic groups, new lands exploring, new ideas and trends spreading, city appearing and developing, the population grew. In the Han era exactly northern China’s frontiers were actively exploring, that’s an important period for the Central Plain and for the border areas steppe zone. Thus, the immigrants from the country interior study are the key to understanding the era and region specificity. A considerable part of Chinese historians study the problem in terms of written sources. In recent years, the number of archaeological materials of the IIIBC - III century AD in northern regions was growing. Emigrants settlement areas have been localized, so their artifacts systematization is becoming possible.
