Pros and cons of introducing the digital ruble into the Russian payment system

The article discusses the introduction of a new concept into the Russian payment system - the "digital ruble". The digital ruble is considered as the third form of the national currency, which will be issued by the Central Bank of Russia in addition to non-cash and cash money. It is expected that the digital ruble will become the digital currency of the Russian regulator or CBDC (Central Bank digital currency), will not differ from existing cash and non-cash money. At the same time, users will decide for themselves whether they should purchase a new form of currency or not.
