The readings in honor of S. F. Platonov (1996-2014) as a conference and competition of students and young scholars

The article is devoted to the history of the All-Russian Conference-competition «Platonov readings» (the readings in honor of S.F. Platonov) which has been hold since 1996 on the basis of the Samara State University. The authors emphasize the role of the «Platonov readings» in the development of scholarly creativity of young people and the formation of a new generation of historians.
