Prospects for resolving the problem of professional self-determination of schoolchildren in the Chelyabinsk region

The purpose of this article is a theoretical analysis of the problem of professional self-determination of schoolchildren and the presentation of the experience of its solution in the Chelyabinsk region. Theoretical approaches to the problem of professional self-determination of schoolchildren and the key difficulties associated with it are analyzed. A pupil who is ready for professional self-determination is more mobile and flexible in the future, capable of transforming his social and labor role in a constantly changing economic and social situation. The experience of the Chelyabinsk region in supporting the professional self-determination of schoolchildren in the conditions of social partnership of general educational organizations, professional educational organizations, universities and enterprises is considered. The problem of professional self-determination in Chelyabinsk is considered from the perspective of providing highly qualified personnel to a specific area of an industrial city, a large role is given to the organization of managing this process at the district level. An agreement on networking in terms of developing the process of self-determination of schoolchildren between employers (industrial enterprises) and the District Employment Center, the Leninsky District Administration, representatives of professional educational organizations and universities, and schools located in the district is described.
