Considering various types of neural networks, the author examines the potential consequences of their use in the legal system, suggests developing a framework for their use in order to balance the potential benefits with the need to protect the rights and interests of all parties involved. Particular attention is paid to the area of criminal procedure, where the trends outlined above are most clearly manifested.
