Parents'' Perfectionism and parents'' Styles of education as regulators of motivation and anxiety of 7-11 aged young chessplayers

Results of the research of interconnections of young chessplayers' anxiety parameters and indices of parents' perfectionism and their styles of education are presented in the paper. The evidences of the fact that unconstruc-tive manifestations of parents' perfectionism increase the possibility of stronger anxiety and feat of the failure in junior school-aged chesspleayers are also presented in this paper. It is established that parents' educational styles preventing young athletes' confidence in themselves express uncertainties in their possibilities and present as well requirements which do not correspond to children's age. Thus, they increase the growth of the level of children's anxiety.
