Бесплатный доступ

The article presents an overview of the literary and translational evaluations of the Spanish translation B. A. Kireevsky (1887-1954). He was one of the founders of the Soviet school of literary translation following the philological approach to translation with a focus on extended historical, cultural and linguistic comments and introductions. The distinctive features of his commentaries are "subtle sense of language"and "co-creative character". Modern translation evaluations are centered on the analysis of semantic, aesthetic and stylistic matching, being editorial and corrective in nature. However, despite the identified errors and inaccuracies in his translations, the researchers recognize the relevance and competitive ability of B. A. Krzeski's works.
