Nature monuments of Buryatia, Russia: Tunkinsky district (results of ecological certification)

The article presents ecological passports of the natural monuments of Tunkinsky district. In total 12 official monuments of nature were described in 2019/20 in the framework of the contract-based research of the Ministry of Natural Resources of the Republic of Buryatia - the dead volcanoes "Talskaya Vershina" and "Khurya-Boldok", the Kyngyrga River exit from the mountains, the (first) waterfall of the Kyngyrga River, marbled ground of the Kyngyrga River, the Ekhe-Ukhgun River, the mineral springs "Tunka Well” ("Vyshka")", "Hongor-Uula" and "Nilova Pustyn", the Koymor Lakes, Lake Hobok, and long-lived larch. Each passport includes all items of the standard form approved by the Government of the Republic of Buryatia of July 11, 2006 No. 213 "On the Arrangement of Protected Areas of Regional and Local Significance in the Territory of the Republic of Buryatia". We have given the recommendations for preservation of all mentioned monuments, and proposed a number of new botanical and zoological monuments of nature, such as Picea obovata var. coerulea, Caragana jubata, Mannagettaea hummelii, Viola ircutiana, Cuon alpinus, Otocolobus manul, Uncia uncia, Rangifer tarandus angustifrons, Capra sibirica.
