P. A. Sudoplatov and Karelia during Great Patriotic War

Relationships between the head of the 4th NKVD Department of the USSR P.A. Sudoplatov and the 4th NKVD Department of Karelo-Finish Soviet Socialist Republic during the time of Great Patriotic War are analyzed. The analysis is prepared based on the wide variety of archival sources coming from the Central Karelian Archive and archives of particular agencies. Many of the archival documents were introduced into the scientific circulation for the first time.
