The attitude of the Vologda region’s population to police activities

The article examines the main trends of public opinion concerning criminal situation in the region and police activities for the 2000-2012 period. The article presents data for the Russian Federation. It evaluates the degree of people’s willingness to cooperate with the internal affairs authorities under conditions of the law enforcement system reforming in accordance with the Federal Law ‘On police’.
