In England, the pedagogical ideas of the Enlightenment were developed by a whole galaxy of thinkers. The work of the British educator John Locke (1632-1704) had a significant impact on the development of the ideas of training and education. His approaches, ways of solving problems and conclusions left their mark not only on the philosophy of the following centuries, but found application in educational systems of many countries.
