Psychoactive amphetamine type stimulants (me-thylenedioxypyrovalerone and pyrrolidino-phenone) in the Krasnoyarsk region

Significant changes occurred in the market of drugs in recent years have led to the formation of a particular pattern in drug use. The great popularity of new synthetic amphetamine derivatives is a relevant problem at present. The article considers the peculiarities of synthetic amphetamine abuse at the level of Krasnoyarsk and the Krasnoyarsk region. According to laboratory research data the abuse of such substances as pyrrolidinophenone and methylenedioxypyrovalerone is prevalent in the region. Intoxication with these agents is typical for the group of stimulants. The abuse of these agents is often associated with psychotic complications generally manifested by hallucinatory-paranoid symptoms.
