Features of the water relationships and heat resistance of clematis

Results of experiences on determination of water-retaining ability of leaves of 12 species of the genus Clematis L and heat resistance of 11 species and 1 sort of Clematis L. in the conditions of culture in the Bashkir Cis-Urals are presented in the article. The general tendencies of dynamics of water indicators during the vegetative season, characterizing the adaptation potential of species of Clematis L. are revealed.
