The content of professional activity of a physical education teacher and a coach diff er in some ways. These diff erences are determined by the essence of processes of physical education and sport preparedness. These peculiarities refer to the measure of obligatoriness/ voluntarism of practicing physical education/sport; pedagogical aims, tasks and principles of physical upbringing/sport training; the content of professional functions and other conceptual characteristics of learningeducational/ learning-training process.
