Some features of spherical and conical surfaces treatment of details on CNC machines

Turning of conical and spherical surfaces of the parts is reviewed. Rational scheme (sequence) of stock removal, the combination of values of linear velocities of the workpiece and tool movements that are relevant in the development of control programs for CNC machines is selected and considered. The parameter of given temperature change rate is introduced. The results of measurements of the machined surface roughness of the parts with different base length measurement are given.
