Features of legitimation of authority in states with various models of civil society

The article compares and contrasts the two modern theoretical conceptions of civil society. Based on the combination of these concepts, three possible models of civil society are identified. Each model is characterized from the point of view of the relationship between the state and civil society, which in turn determines the use of certain methods of legitimation of power.
