Specifics of shaping mathematical notions in conditions of integration of the algebraic and geometrical methods at secondary school

The article presents different conceptions aimed at shaping mathematical notions at secondary school, including the one, based on integration of the algebraic and geometrical methods and offered by the author. The stages of notion formation are emphasized; the features illustrated on a concrete example are listed.
