Organized crime as a threat to national security of the Republic of Kazakhstan

The article analyses crime in the Republic of Kazakhstan. The social danger of the organized crime, its negative impact on a stable development of a state are illustrated by means of statistics and data on activities of certain organized criminal groups. Drawbacks in penalty legislation that weaken the fight against the organized crime are demonstrated, three types of the organized crime are identified. The author suggests that a set of measures to fight the organized crime should be implemented.
