Organization of hierarchic system of genetic prevention of mental disorders in families as development of predictive-preventive and personalized medicine

In the review, relevant ideas of medico-genetic help rendering for families of patients with mental disorders have been presented; basic trends and directions of predictive-preventive and personalized medicine are described. It is based that in prevention of mental disorders the basic principle is family-genetic one and systematic approach on which basis hierarchic system of genetic prevention has been introduced; levels, stages, participants of the process have been introduced. Of importance is possibility to predict family and individual genetic risk of mental disorder. Significance of development of predictive-preventive and personalized approach in psychiatry is underlined.
