The author describes the process of working with students of university high school classes of Russian State University named after A.N. Kosygin. The author defines the advantages of subject-oriented education, describes the difficulties and urgent problems of a university gymnasium, shares the experience in solving them. The priority areas in the development of subject-oriented classes are enlisted.
