Experience of imperial issues research: directions and contents

The directions and the content of an imperial issues research in historical and legal science are analyzed. National, ethnic as well as territorial and regional elements of imperial state system are emphasized. It is proposed to focus on the following categories in the methodology: mixed economy, geopolitical stability, bureaucracy, complex centralized management.
