Optimization the design of railway searchlight in ANSYS program

In article results of determination the own frequencies of a searchlight design of electric locomotive VL series by means of ANSYS final element analysis program are stated. As a light source of front lamp the incandescent lamp and light-emitting diodes were used. The received sizes of own frequencies were compared with frequencies of periodic vibrations which are tested by the railway vehicles. The carried-out analysis allowed to reveal the directions of searchlight design development, providing increase of vibrostability with various light sources.
