Definitions and approaches to the research of electoral technologies

The article compares different interpretations of electoral technologies, which are considered as the most important component of the arsenal of political governance of society. The author highlights the existing perspectives of the study of political technologies, including functional, systemic, structural and functional, legal (normative), psychological, marketing, communicative and comparative historical approaches. Further research prospects are associated with the classification and development of electoral technologies within the framework of the indicated approaches.
