Definition of mass optimization of blasting chamber shells

Бесплатный доступ

The question of mass optimization of blasting chamber shell is studied. Two settlement cases - ideal spherical and cylindrical shells with constant thickness of walls were in-process observed. The analytical dependences are gained, allowing to connect explosive charge (EC) parameters with necessary of strength properties of shell material and its geometrical sizes. At some assumptions the maximum and minimum theoretically possible mass values of a shell for the specified cases are defined. For the first time analyti-cal dependence of shell radius on EC radius which allows to make an estimation of chamber geometry concerning strength conditions at the designing initial stages and to define its optimum mass is gained.
