At the current stage of development of the healthcare industry, in terms of personnel policy, motivational conditions for medical personnel have not been formed, since low wages and difficult, especially in the last year, working conditions contribute to the outflow of qualified specialists to alternative paid medicine, in connection with which ensuring a decent level of remuneration today it becomes one of the key tasks in the framework of the strategic development of the industry. In the course of the study, trends in the change in the salary of doctors in Russia as the main criterion of motivation in high-quality work in the context of the current deterioration of the epidemiological situation in the country and in the world are considered based on the analysis of the dynamics of the main indicators of the industry development in 2016-2020. It was found that the problems of personnel policy still occupy one of the central places, which is confirmed by the dynamics of the level of wages in the industry. Despite the trend towards a steady increase in the average wages in health care both in current and in comparable prices, its level does not exceed the national average. As a result, over the past 5 years, real wages in healthcare have grown from 34.5 thousand rubles. to 49.5 thousand rubles, while in the country as a whole - from 42.4 thousand rubles. up to 51.4 thousand rubles. A comparative analysis of the level of salary of a doctor in the context of a number of countries of the world showed that in Russia, along with other CIS countries, this indicator has one of the lowest values - $ 650 per month. As a result, we can say that today in Russia the level of remuneration of doctors, mainly doctors, is at an extremely low level, as a result of which there is practically no motivation for high-quality and effective work in the industry.
