Assessment of breeding material of spring barley by parameters of ecological plasticity

The article presents the results of the assessment of varieties (genotypes) studied in the competitive varietal testing of spring barley at the FPBSI Volga RISS in 2014 -2018, according to three methods for calculating the ecological plasticity of agricultural crops. Revealed highly productive genotypes neutral and responsive to the improvement of environmental conditions. Using the parameters of plasticity, the specificity of the realization of the productivity potential of the studied genotypes was identified, and the possibility and expediency of using methods for assessing environmental plasticity at the final stages of the selection process were confirmed.
