The assessment of representativeness and nature protection value of the reserve «Aleksandrovsky» in comparison with other specially protected natural areas (SPNA) of the Stavropol territory

The comparative assessment of a representativeness and the nature protection value of especially protected natural areas of the Stavropol territory, based on the study of size of reserves, the extent of their boundaries, an index of form of the area, the degree of vulnerability of the area and its ecological optimality of use is spent. The buffer zone of the studied specially protected natural areas is optimum. It is established that the reserve « Aleksandrovsky» possesses the greatest representativeness and nature protection value on the majority of the studied indicators that cause necessity of maintenance of its nature protection status.
