Evaluation of the “Expoforum” congress and exhibition center as a driver for the formation of the market for hotel services in Saint-Petersburg

This article examines the influence of the Expovorum exhibition center on the formation andfunctioning of the hotel services market in Saint- Petersburg. In the course of the study, features of the congressand exhibition infrastructure of St. Petersburg were examined, current state of the ExpoForum center was analyzedtogether with the evaluation of its impact on the formation of hotel services in St. Petersburg. As a result, thisresearch identifies a number of problems in the hotel services sector of Saint-Petersburg caused by the impact of theExpoForum exhibition center.
