The images of the folk mythological figures in the creative work of A.I. Ertel

The article deals with the images of the Russian mythological figures in the most famous novel “Gardenins” by A.I. Ertel. The writer includes the mythological text in the plot of the novel according to the living existence of the genre of the folkloric account characterizing the inner borderline case of the characters. There is paid special attention to the mythological model that is seamlessly included by A.I. Ertel in the context of the concrete-historical and regional characteristics in the organization of the novel's plot
