Images of grammar in the poem The plural by Kiki Dimoula

I reconstruct the lyrical plot of the poem The Plural by the Greek poetess Kiki Dimoula. I prove that grammatical figurative associations of words that are key for a love situation are rooted in the classical norm of the Greek language and in the ideas of classical philosophy about substantiality and generic characteristics. The presence of the classifying norm in the tradition of modern Greek poetry determined particular solutions in which the love scene is constructed not by direct description, but by the play of grammatical accessories specific to the classical, not modern colloquial norm in Greek.
