The authors analyze the practice of interaction between the courts, the legal service of a budgetary institution empowered to determine the cadastral value, forensic experts and market appraisers in the framework of considering cases to challenge the value of the cadastral value of real estate. They give recommendations on how to reduce the likelihood of imposing legal costs on the defendant and increase the level of responsibility of appraisers and experts.
