The article discusses the most important functions of logic in the cognition of history as they appear in the works of such early XXth century Russian philosophers, as A.I. Vvedensky, N.O. Lossky, G.G. Shpet. The author suggests that G.G. Shpet and N.I. Kareev declare the crucial role of logic in the methodology of history.
