About need of Il-76MD-90A plane modernization

In this article, the problems connected with application of thrust reverser of PS-90A-76 engines in Il-76MD-90A planeare considered. These problems not only increase the cost of operating cycle of the plane, but also influence flightsafety. The estimated and experimental data showing that the main reason for the arising problems - bad external aerodynamics of the power plant on run of the plane with application of thrust reverserare given. The reasons of the arising problems inIL-76MD-90A plane, and also methods of their decision are considered.
