New variety of spring soft wheat of semi-intensive type Tulaikovskaya Pobeda

The development and spread of resistant varieties is an environmentally promising way of agricultural development. The aim of our research is the creation of a new highly productive, immune to disease, high-quality variety of spring soft wheat of semi-intensive type adaptive to unfavorable abiotic and biotic factors of the environment for the conditions of the Middle Volga region. The studies were carried out on the basis of the laboratory of genetics and breeding of spring soft wheat of the Research Institute of Agriculture named after. N.M. Tulaikova (Samara NIISH) in 2013-2018 on the breeding crops of the competitive varietal testing of spring wheat, according to its predecessor, peas, with a seeding rate of 4.5 million viable seeds per hectare. The registration area of the plot is 20 m2, the repetition is four times, the placement of the plots is randomized. The variety Tulaikovskaya 108, adopted in the region by the State Commission for Grade Testing, in 2013-2017, and in 2018 Tulaikovskaya Hope, served as the standard variety. In the field, phenological observations were carried out, and leaf pathogen resistance was assessed. As a result of the breeding, a variety of spring soft wheat Tulaikovskaya victory (selection number Lutescens 1077) was created by individual selection from the hybrid population F41419ae, obtained by crossing the winter wheat Au-baine (France) and the varieties of spring soft wheat Tulaikovskaya 100 (Samara NIISH). The grade is transferred in 2015 to the State trial testing. The average yield of the variety in competitive testing for 2013-2018. amounted to 1.99 t / ha (0.7-30.9 t / ha) and was at the level of the standards Tulaikovskaya 108 and Tulaikovskaya hope. The results of testing a new variety at the variety sites of the Samara and Ulyanovsk regions are given. Tulaikovskaya victory is characterized by a high content of protein and gluten in the grain. The grade is recommended for production testing and introduction in the Middle Volga region of the Russian Federation for arid transitional and southern zones. In 2018, the variety was protected by a patent for the selection achievement of the Russian Federation No. 9657.
