The paper is devoted to the new data on the radiocarbon chronology of the Neolithic and Chalcolithic of the Middle Volga and the Don region. The analysis of the chronology of Elshanskaya, Srednedonskaya, Pricaspiyskaya cultures is presented. The correlation between the dates on charred food crusts and organics from ceramics has been traced.
