In 2016 the field researches were continued on the Krokhalevka-5, -11 sites (Kudryashovskiy archaeological region, the Novosibirsk Ob’ River Basin). Forty-nine different archaeological objects were investigated including 11 burials. Three graves were attributed to the Bronze Age (the first group). In the graves two art objects were found (one - in 1998). They were produced from burr of birch. Both have form of a stylized bear’s head. Similar objects were also found in the Odino necropolises of the Baraba forest-steppe: Sopka-2/4А, Abramovo-11. Vessels of the Krokhalevo ceramic type were also excavated in these burials. These pots have no “textile” traces. Funerary practices remind the Krotovo Culture rite. The cultural identification of these burial complexes is difficult due to the presence of different cultural markers in burial practice and artifacts on the necropolis.
