The archaeological excavations of a Scythian period settlement near the Titchikha farmstead revealed a seven-rayed earring with a pseudo-granulation ornamentation. The X-ray spectrometry showed that it was made from a silver and copper alloy and, most likely, was coated with a thin layer of silver. The authors link this find to Titchikha, an unfortified settlement located nearby, and date it to the end of the 9th-10th centuries based on typological similarities with other items of this type of Slav artifacts.
