Some foreign policy factors to determine penal policy and penal legislation of the Russian Federation

Having analyzed international legal documents the author of the article considers criminal-executive legislation of the Russian Federation and examines some of the foreign factors to determine penal policy and penal legislation of the Russian Federation. Such factors as the current practice of intergovernmental organizations, the membership of the Russian Federation in international organizations, international system of monitoring the implementation of international legal instruments, activities of international nongovernmental organizations and others are highlighted.
