Some problems in the sphere of housing legislation in the context of damaged and unsuitable houses

The article provides a legal analysis of the institution of emergency and uninhabitable houses. Attention is focused on the fact that the practical implementation of the mechanism for recognizing residential premises as emergency and unsuitable for habitation is not perfect, which is confirmed by the materials of judicial and law enforcement practice. In this regard, the article identifies problematic aspects in this area and develops possible ways to solve them. The authors make a conclusion about the further improvement of this institution as a whole. This topic is relevant in the modern world, scientific literature on a given problem is being studied, as well as practical domestic experience.
